I'm Maham (:
Hi! I’m Maham Khawar, a mixed-methods UX researcher passionate about creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences. I specialize in combining qualitative insights from usability testing and in-depth interviews with quantitative data analysis to inform user-centered product decisions across web, mobile, and gaming platforms. Currently, I’m an Associate Design Researcher at Material, where I conduct usability studies for FAANG clients, evaluate AI features in advertising products, and support teams with real-time qualitative coding and reporting. I also mentor and train new researchers to ensure consistency in research methodologies. Previously, I worked at Breakthrough Research, contributing to both quantitative and qualitative studies, from survey design to focus group facilitation.
I hold a B.S. in Cognitive Science (Computing specialization) from UCLA and am pursuing a part-time M.S. in Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. My work focuses on leveraging research to make digital products more intuitive, usable, and equitable for all users. When I’m not diving into user data, I enjoy exploring the latest in AI Research, prototyping ideas, and experimenting with design tools like Figma and Sketch.
